They promised him a rightful income, but our democracy has rewarded wolves in sheep's clothing, who are tearing the country apart and have destroyed the measures that offered hope.
How many families, in one of the richest countries in the world, find themselves below the poverty line and desperate? They are forgotten. Instead, we actively deal with the idiots who go around with loaded guns shooting, with the thieves who hold positions as government undersecretaries, with the shameful live appearances of our unpresentable Prime Minister, with the skilfully continued thefts of the "unpunished", known for their dangerousness social. They are placed in conditions of economic comfort ("cheating bandits" condemned with pensions paid by us), free to plot and tear the country apart.
We are amazed to see the shamelessness and impunity enjoyed by inept people who, thanks to their absolute absence of morality, occupy positions of privilege and revel in the mud, caused by them in many years of moral devastation of the country.
The country is in the hands of organized gangs, "lobbyists" transformed into "statesmen" who grow fat on the misery of others. And U.S? We ride the wave and, in a continuous and precarious balance, we hope not to drown, at least us. Like cows at the slaughter, we always hope that they will choose the other and we meekly watch our turn. When we decide to make a "wave", when we assume the responsibility of sweeping away and overwhelming our "slaughterers", when we are ready to clean up this beautiful country, to free it from the mice and cockroaches that offend it, to deliver it still intact, at least in soul, to our children?
They are taking everything away from us, while we watch in disbelief. Our "culture", stratified, enriched, strengthened by centuries of work, the true wealth inherited from our ancestors, that too can be "stolen" from us, but it is up to us to defend it. We must not believe that they cannot disfigure it. Like thieves envious of such beauty, hunted and annoyed, they are capable of scarring irreplaceable canvases or defacing goods that belong to us, they can steal them and sell them.
If you are not thirsty for justice, we are truly in danger. If you don't thirst for community, if you don't feel anger and resentment, if you feel protected by your comfort, you will remain waiting for your turn in the hope that it will be the other cow's turn.
